Current Projects

1. - October / Mission: EarthCare

Aim of this project is to tell kids that they need a healthy earth for them to be healthy and the earth needs their help. We inform children about  environmental protection and that by THINKING about the earth's problems in their everyday life they can become compassionate earth-savers.

2. - April / First Lullaby

"New Born Hearing Screening" is widely used for the early detection of hearing loss in babies. However developing countries and underserved communities need some services for the establishment of this program. The objective of this project is to work together with the local NGO's of our neighbouring countries for the introduction and use of NBHS program in their country.

3. - Patchwork Workshops For Village Women

We think without training the mothers, any primary school education is incomplete. Therefore it is crucial for the mothers of those children we train for Earthcare to receive the same knowledge. However it is not appropriate to put them in a classroom and give a course about health of the planet.  A workshop where they can learn a skill; patching or painting endemic birds, flowers, plants of the area where they live, becomes a classroom where  women can talk about many things. Also, the handicrafts they produce are then exhibited and sold enabling the village women to have a little cash in but invaluable psychological and social income.
